The 2017 Virginia Youth Trapshooting League Regular Season has finished, with 75 Virginia youth participating in the weekly competitions. This was the third season for the league. Total targets thrown were 26,050 (21,350 in 2016), a 22.5% increase with a league-wide average of 71.14%. There were 521 (427 in 2016) ATA “Big 50” entries during the 2016 season.
Every coach and shooter should be commended for their efforts in helping the VYTL grow. We hope everyone enjoyed the competition and camaraderie, as well as improved their shooting skills throughout the 9+ weeks.
