The fourth week of the 2016 Virginia Youth Trapshooting League is complete, with 57 youth participating throughout the state.
Overall High Guns were Eric Swahn 48 (IWLA Arlington Fairfax) and Robert Judy 48*(Frederick County 4-H). Eric also shot his first 25 straight this week.
The Week 4 High Guns in each category are as follows:
Junior Gold: Steven Keating 45 (Frederick County 4-H) and Trevor Goin 40 (Appomattox).
Junior: Austin Asbury 46 (Flight Control), Brandon McDonald 45 (Frederick County 4-H), Jacob Davis 45 (Flight Control), and Dalton Earhart 45 (Frederick County 4-H).
Sub-Junior: Camden Newlin 46*(Independent), Levi Bolan 46 (Arrowhead) and Hunter Shoemaker 43 (Frederick County 4-H).
Pre-Sub Junior: Ryan Marsh 46 (Flight Control), Dannie Wilson 40 (Frederick County 4-H) and Connor Morris 36 (Flight Control).
*To settle the tie, we had to use the reverse scores, utilizing the Week 3 Total Scores.

About the Virginia Youth Trapshooting League:
The VYTL is an 8 week high school trap shooting competition for Virginia youth up to 22 years of age. Our unique format provides shooters throughout Virginia with the opportunity to compete at their local clubs and have their scores compared with peers from throughout the state.
New clubs/teams this year include Alexandria IWLA (Stafford Clay Shooters), Northern Virginia Gun Club, Arrowhead, Blue Angels Shooting Team and Stonewall. Returning from 2015 are Appomattox, IWLA Arlington-Fairfax, IWLA- Lynchburg (Flight Control), and Winchester Gun Club (Frederick County 4-H).
