2016 VYTL Final Standings

The 2016 Virginia Youth Trapshooting League Regular Season has finished, with 81 Virginia youth participating in the weekly competitions.  This season grew at a remarkable rate – a 98% increase –  in only the league’s second season.  Total targets thrown were 21,350 with a league-wide average of 70.66%.  There were 427 ATA “Big 50” entries during the 2016 season.

Every coach and shooter should be commended for their efforts in helping the VYTL grow.  We hope everyone enjoyed the competition and camaraderie, as well as improved their shooting skills throughout the 8+ weeks.

The race for the top three positions in the end of season standings came down to the wire, with 5 shooters in contention going into the final week.  Two shooters (Camden Newlin and Mason Angel) shot 50s in the last week to solidify their places atop the leader board.  For weekly results and scores for every shooter, click here: 2016 VYTL Scores – Week 8
